Hi Ashwini,
1) Identify the FPM application that you want customise. and goto the FPM application and hide the tabs and fields that you don't want for the user . create a FPM varaint id.
2) Create a new portal role . path
SAP Portfolio and Project Management - Portfolio Management - Global Customizing - Portfolio-Independent Settings - Define Portal Roles --
3) Mapp the role to the varaint
SAP Portfolio and Project Management - Portfolio Management - Global Customizing - Process and Service Settings - Define Object Context for Navigation
4) Related object context for navigation
SAP Portfolio and Project Management - Portfolio Management - Global Customizing - Process and Service Settings - Define Related Object Context for Navigation
5) Create New role in PFCG by copying SAP provided ppm role SAP_BPR_PPM . Open the role in change mode goto menu tab. Select the overview and right click the details on the item and change portal role that you have created.
For example i am attaching sample role that i created , where in i need provide access to users only for portfolio items, with new portal as per the business requirement.
