I'm dealing with a similar issue.
I began to develope an implementation for RS_BBS_BADI before developing another one for RS_BBS_BADI_DYNAMIC. This RS_BBS_BADI implementation allow defining own report type as receiver, and by that way I can call to a dynamic URL using values from the sender query.

Now.
I tried to extend this functionallity, searching the way of showing or not showing the target step according to concrete values in the query or showing or not showing the target step only in the context menu of some cells at BEX query.
I don't find any documentation about RS_BBS_BADI_DYNAMIC except your reference.
I have made an implementation for this BAdI (RS_BBS_BADI_DYNAMIC) in two ways:
- Using the example class CL_RS_BBS_BADI_DYNAMIC_EXMPL
- Developing a similar path to the followed for RS_BBS_BADI which is described in the pointed link before
But, when I try to define a step on RSBBS transaction I can see available what I have defined for RS_BBS_BADI but not what I have defined for RS_BBS_BADI_DYNAMIC.
Please, I would be very gratefull if you let me know if you found a solution for this issue.
