Not Assigned Characteristic in PR Release Stragtegy

Hi Gurus,

In our PR release strategy Storage Location is one of the characteristics. I am creating a new release strategy for another division Storage Location is not a Characteristic for new release strategy. However we are using the same class how can I assign values for Storage Location. If I leave blank release strategy is not triggering.

Please advice.
