Key Figure settings change

Hi,

Is there some way to speed up this job... fired from planning area > change key figure settings.

CHANGE_ACT_PAREA_<Planning Area Name>

I made a change in the background to some 5 odd key figures (calc type), deleted a few unwanted ones,.. among 60 odd for a start. Fully loaded planning area with about 200 storage buckets and 800K CVC's.

The job is running since past 2 days...see attch. This is a perfectly tuned system whatever that means per BASIS.

Interesting sequence of events here to reveal the true performance of live cache! Just about every program gives up when we talk about such humble data volumes. Not good.

or is there some scientific reason out there ?
