We basically have one company and now another company is going to merge with us. so we are planning to take that company into one our company code.
first of all, do we need to buy any additional license if we already have ECC 6.5 with New GL Active?
secondly, if we go for option 1, we already have one company code, under which another companies data is going to be migrated.
besides, in our existing system though we have New GL active but we do not have document splitting functionality active.
Now, if we create new profit centers and cost centers for new company data, will it still serve the previous data of our existing company along with new migrated and separated data or not.
for 2nd option, we are not preferring making 2 companies as two companies are merging into one. after 1 or 2 years there will be no need of viewing separate B/S or P&L data.
