Re: Hard Reservation of Material

Hello Kavya,

1. This should be possible through user-rxit PPCO0023 or CNEX0026 .
2. Here the code will first retrieve all the open reservations of this particular material against a Storage location (table RESB)
3. It will then check the Stock in this storage location (table MCHB etc)
4. If sno3  <=  ( sno2 + present Qty),  then it will throw an exception saying 'Reservation not possible due to stock deficiency'.
5. You can even make user-exit IWO10009 work for this. In this case exception will trigger at the time of Saving.

With these inputs your ABAPer should be able to explore solution to your requirement.
