Per chance did you make any progress on this topic? (and I hope you did since 2013).
I have been asked to connect DAX to our sap finance system thru PI and I have to admit that litterature about this scenario is very scarce and I don't know anything about DAX.
Microsoft is selling a SAP adapter for Biztalk and it seems that they are ways to use the SOAP adapter with a .net application but that's all I could find so far.
If you have any relevant doc you will save my day!
