Hi Ali.
You have to perform the two steps to upgrade the database to Oracle 12.1
1. Perform the system copy from current level of OS / DB to new system. you have to follow the SAP Homogeneous system copy method.
2. Once the system copy completed you can perform the DB upgraded from Oracle 11.2 to 12.2.
as per the SAP PAM both oracle database versions are supported kernel 7.40 & 7.42.
